Using high-power pressurised water jets, we can remove almost any blockage. Our CCTV equipment lets us survey your drains and identify any problem areas – like cracks or tree roots – easily, and our experienced drainage engineers aim to deal with any problems with the minimum of fuss and disruption.

Blockages

There can be many causes of blockages in commercial or residential drainage systems - fat, grease, silt and other debris can build up in drainpipes, while structural defects can restrict the flow of waste. You might first notice you’ve got problems due to slowly-draining sinks, awful smells or toilets not emptying properly. This isn’t merely inconvenient – blockages like this can lead to serious damage to pipework if left unattended, not to mention causing environmental and health issues. Our remote CCTV helps us find any problem, and high-pressure water jets deal with them quickly and safely.

Insurance Surveys

Thanks to our years of experience and hi-tech CCTV equipment, we can easily and quickly check your drains and assess damage to help with insurance claims. We can provide comprehensive reports, with video and photographs, to identify any defects and specific problem areas to your insurers. Our sonar tracing equipment allows us to track and map your drainage routes from above ground.

Root Cutting

Roots get everywhere underground. And they’re very determined. They can work their way into your piping over a number of years, and once there, they’ll find all the moisture and nutrients they need to carry on growing. Roots can block pipes easily and completely – and surprisingly quickly. The first sign of root intrusion will often be cracked driveways and paving, or slow drains, and it’s essential to take notice of these indicators as soon as possible. We can clear problem roots quickly and simply, without the need for time-consuming and expensive excavations.

Sonar Tracing

Our sophisticated sonar tracing equipment allows us to track drainage routes from above ground. We can not only trace the direction of pipework with pinpoint accuracy, but also determine how deep underground it is. This means we can easily create fully up-to-date drainage plans (which can be especially useful, as existing plans are often no longer accurate) and accurately determine the location of problem areas like breaks, blockages and collapsed pipework as well as hidden and buried manholes.

CCTV Surveying

We can send our high-tech CCTV cameras into your drains to perform a survey of your drains and identify existing and potential problem areas such as leaks, cracked pipes, corrosion and broken joints as well as blockages caused by tree roots and domestic waste. The cameras are designed to operate in working sewage and drainage systems, in order to cause as little disruption as possible. If required, we can record the CCTV feed for the client to copy on to a USB stick.

Drain Jetting

Drain jetting uses high-pressure water jets to clean inner drain surfaces. These jets are powerful enough to remove almost any blockage, and provide excellent cleaning. Jetting hoses can go around the tightest of bends in pipes, and so can tackle blockages and clogs that other methods just can’t get to. Because the jets are just clean water, with no powerful chemicals being used, they’re environmentally friendly, too.
